How I feel about content creating for 3 years…
I am still in disbelief that it has been 3 years since I’ve started this blogging/ content creator journey. I keep re reading the title & checking the calendar to make sure that I didn’t make a mistake. Honestly, one of the first things that comes to my mind is PROUD. I am genuinely proud of myself that I believed in myself and took a chance by launching a blog and sharing my words/photos with the world.
“Be yourself, chase your dreams, and just never say never. That’s the best advice I could ever give someone.”
Anyone who is reading this and you have a bit of doubt about chasing your dreams whether it be starting a blog, a business, applying for an internships or asking for a raise. I want you to be encouraged that you can do it and that investing in yourself is one of the most important things you can do. I know it can be easier said than done because I have been in the same position and find myself there today as I contemplate going full time with my creative journey. If anything this year, 2020, has taught us that we can plan but things can change drastically & life is short. Don’t look back on your life and think what if. Take time to research how to start and find people who will lift you up & support you along the way. Then most importantly take a step. You got this.
To end this post I want to say thank you to each and every person who has ever read a blog post, liked an Instagram photo, shared a post, reached out to collaborate & more. I would not be where I am today and as determined to see myself succeed without your support. Love you.
